Nick Wapplington artists book series

A series of ten hardback artists photography books for a show at the Whitechapel Gallery London. The books were printed as POD books with handmade multi coloured covers and foil lettering, the set of ten different books were then held in custom made cloth covered folio box as a limited edition.

About the book

The other part of the show is a collection of 10 books with 100 similar images in each ('You are what you see'), a kind of choose your own adventure experience in which individual experience is questioned from a different angle. An unforgettable part of the exhibition is Waplington's photographic interventions in off-site venues, a definite conversation starter on the way we endlessly share images these days physically enacted through his snap-shot-like images of everyday life and situations placed unglamorously in shops and streets around the gallery.
